I came into Pilates back in 2004, when I got my first ever (Saturday) job at Drago's Gym (later True Pilates) in NYC. Since then, I have always maintained a relationship with Pilates, but it wasn't until 2018/19 that I started a certification program with Polestar Pilates, and (thanks to the pandemic), finally became certified in 2021. Though my training is defined as "contemporary," I always say my roots are in the classical system, and as a result, I've learned to utilize & even blend both styles when needed.
