Pilates instructor with remedial/rehabilitation experience

Vitalbody Pilates & Movement Studio | Fairfield, Iowa

We're looking for two experienced, comprehensively trained Pilates teachers to join our expert-led studio.

We offer Classical & Clinical Pilates on Reformer & apparatus through private and small-group training, alongside Yoga and Movement classes. Our clients range from athletes and active adults to over-65s and those seeking Clinical, Remedial and Rehabilitation Pilates.

We're looking for teachers who understand the body, are passionate about excellent movement, injury rehabilitation and individualized teaching.

YOU'LL NEED:

• Minimum 1 year professional Pilates teaching experience
• Recognized comprehensive qualification — NPCP/PMA, Balanced Body, BASI, Merrithew/STOTT, Polestar or equivalent
• Clinical, Remedial or Rehabilitation Pilates experience, OR experience in a physical therapy/physiotherapy, sports medicine or rehabilitation setting
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, posture and movement function
• Ability to assess, customize, modify and progress programs for individual needs

Additional Yoga, Barre, fitness, dance, sports performance or bodywork experience is a plus.
