The Pilates Academy

The Pilates Academy trains Pilates instructors through NPCP-verified certification courses: Mat (100 hours), Reformer (300 hours), Mat + Reformer (400 hours), and Comprehensive (450 hours). Courses run online with weekly live mentoring, or in person in cohorts capped at twelve students, with studio days in Los Angeles, New York, and the Miami area. Every student is assigned a personal mentor for one-to-one sessions, a weekly group Practice Lab, and supervised practice teaching before assessment. Founded by Chen Leibovich after eight years teaching and running her own studio, the academy has certified over 700 graduates now teaching in more than 30 countries. Mat and Mat + Reformer tracks lead to the NPCP Mat (PMC) exam; Comprehensive leads to the NCPT exam. Graduates get a year of continued mentoring and career guidance through the free Go Pilates Club.
